This Gurdwara Sri Shaheedan Sahib Urapar is situated, midway between Phillaur and Nawanshahr, 18 km's along the Phillaur-Nawanshahr Road in Urapar village.

In 1711, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur along with the Khalsa Army fought a battle against the mughal army being led by Shamas Khan. The battle was won by the Khalsa army.

The Sikh soldiers who won martyrdom were cremated at the place where Gurdwara Sri Shaheedan Sahib Urapar is located.
