Gurdwara Sri Ramsar Sahib Mallan is situated outside the village of Mallan and located about 30 km's from the city of Sri Muktsar Sahib.
In 1705, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this place while travelling towards 'Khidrane Di Dhab' (now known as Sri Muktsar Sahib).
Guru Gobind Singh rested at place for sometime. The local Chaudhry, a hindu named Jugraj met Guru Sahib.
Guru Gobind Singh's Sikhs asked the Chaudhry not to reveal the whereabouts of Guru Gobind Singh to pursuing mughals forces.
The Chaudhry promised to keep quiet but later on it was found that he had betrayed Guru Sahib.
