This Gurdwara is situated in one of the villages surrounding the Ludhiana district.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this place while travelling from Chamkaur, Machhiwara, Alamgir and Raikot on his way to Muktsar Sahib.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji tied his horse to a Jhorian (pair) of Pipal trees, hence the name of the Gurdwara. The trees are located to the rear side of the Gurdwara.
