Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place during his journey of Malwa region.
Guru Tegh Bahadur stopped here to rest while travelling from Talwandi Sabo to Dhamtan.
Some of the Sikhs had gone to the fields to get horse feed for their horses. Unaware of Guru Tegh Bahadur's presence in their village the ignorant landlords refused to allow Guru Ji's Sikhs to enter their fields and cut the grass.
The Sikhs went back to Guru Tegh Bahadur and explained what had happened. Guru Tegh Bahadur decided to leave and proceed to Gurne Kalan.
The landlords, as well as the villagers of Lehra-Gaga subsequently realized their mistake and met Guru Tegh Bahadur at Gurne Kalan to ask for forgiveness.
After staying for three days, Guru Tegh Bahadur left the village of Gurne Kalan for Makorar Sahib.
The villagers of Lehra-Gaga also followed Guru Tegh Bahadur and asked for his forgiveness. Guru Tegh Bahadur finally blessed them at village Makorar. The villagers returned home and constructed Gurdwara Sri Jandsar Sahib Sangrur at the place where Guru Ji had stopped and tied his horse with a Jand tree.
