Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Dhillwan came here from Handiaya via Dhaula, Sohiana Sahib.

Guru Tegh Bahadur first arrived at village Kailon but the people there didn't offer any courtesy. When Guru Tegh Bahadur arrived in Dhillwan Guru Ji met Bhai Mado.

Bhai Mado was from village Sursingh Wala, tehsil Patti, but had settled in Dhillwan. Bhai Mado insisted that Guru Tegh Bahadur should stay here as a guest where Guru Ji was looked after with great respect and devotion.

Apart from holding diwans and teaching people about Sikhi, Guru Ji would help solve other problems.

Guru Tegh Bahadur had a well dug to help with water shortages in the village and freely donated buffalos to the villagers to help provide milk.
