Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Sunam is situated in Sunam City of District Sangrur.
In 1509, Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji arrived in Sunam from Moonak with Bhai Mardana and rested near Hansna River on outside of Sunam.
A brahman invited Guru Nanak to visit his house. At the brahman's home, his old mother served Guru Nanak with great respect and devotion.
After staying there for four days Guru Nanak left for Sangrur where Guru Ji rested at the place where Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib Mangwal is situated and then went further on towards Sultanpur Lodhi.
