After Dina, Sri Guru Gobind Singh was travelling towards Muktsar Sahib stopping to rest and hold diwans at various villages in between.
It is said that villagers of this place attacked the Sikhs. In this attack two Sikhs were killed and villagers took away five horses.
The next day, Sikhs attacked Jalal village and won the fight. Now 'Panch' (five villagers) came and asked for forgiveness.
These villagers constructed a 'Gurusar' in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh.
