Two ladies from the village Dakha followed Guru Ji and offered their food.

The ladies walked a few kilometers and were happy to serve Guru Hargobind, they asked Guru Ji to bless their families to serve as Sikhs.

Guru Ji was very impressed with their seva bhavana and blessed them and this holy place. They say anyone who comes here with faith and devotion has their prayers answered.

Later Maharaja Ranjit Singh built an octagonal thara as a memorial, which can be viewed in the Bhora Sahib underneath the Gurdwara.

The management and seva of this historic gurdwara is in hands of Nihang Singhs since the begining. Intially it was Baba Waryam Singh Ji Raqba, who did seva at this place. Later Baba Karam Singh Ji and Baba Lehna Singh Ji Dhatt performed great selfless seva here. Now Baba Joginder Singh Ji, Boparai Kalan is taking care of this place very efficiently.

A new Gurdwara building was built in 1936 by Bhai Ajaib Singh Ji, Boparai Kalan with the help of the sangat. In 1972 holy sarover was built with help of the sangat. Now there is seva of a new building since 2008.

On every sangrand, large diwans are organised.
