Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this location on 2nd January 1705 (19 Poh 1761 Bikarmi).

Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharam Singh and Bhai Maan Singh accompanied Guru Gobind Singh.

Guru Gobind Singh rested at this place for one night and brushed his teeth using a datan.

A woman from the village asked Guru Gobind Singh to help her, her child had chicken pox and was suffering a great deal. Guru Gobind Singh cured her child and planted the datan which grew into a Beri tree.

The Beri tree is still present at the Gurdwara today.
