Gurdwara Sri Arisar Sahib

Gurdwara Sri Arisar Sahib is situated between villages Dhaula and Handiya.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came here from Gurdwara Sri Gurusar Kacha Sahib. Guru Sahib's horse stopped and wouldn't move.

When the accompanying sangat asked why, Guru Tegh Bahadur explained that there were tobacco fields belonging to a muslim farmer ahead.

Guru Tegh Bahadur predicted, that in future, there would be a time when the region will be full of Gursikhs.

From Gurdwara Sri Arisar Sahib Guru Tegh Bahadur went to the place now known as Gurdwara Sri Sohiana Sahib.
