Gurdwara Kot Bhai Than Singh

Baba Than Singh was a well known Sikh that settled in village Fateh Khan of Attock district. Malik Fateh Khan, the feudal lord of the Village, having seen bhakti became his follower, arranged a place for his residence and donated towards langar.

Thus the place where ha stayed was named after him as Kot Than Singh. His samadh and gurdwara were built during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

The Gurdwara was left here due to the migration of Sikhs from Pakistan during 1947 partition. This historic site has still been preserved by the local Muslims of the area.

Many beautiful wall pictures depicting Sikh history can be seen on the walls, though most are badly defaced.
