Statement submitted before the Nanavati Commission

Witness No. 42

Name : Jeet Singh

Age : 42 Years

Occupation : Business

Address : E 87/11, Kalyanpuri, Delhi.

On SA

I had filed an affidavit before Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission of Inquiry. I am shown the original affidavit. I say that signatures thereon are mine. The affidavit is taken on record marked as Exhibit No.42/1. I say that Shyam Singh is my cousin brother and not real brother.

Cross examination by S.S. Gandhi, Sr. Advocate on behalf of Delhi Police

Police had recorded my statement. I had given the names of the persons mentioned in para 2 of my affidavit. I had given evidence in the Kakardooma Courts in connection with this incident. There also I had given the names of all those persons. In the court I had identified Tara, Hayat and Pooran.

Kataria was not in that case. Other persons named in my affidavit were not present before the court as accused. It is not true to say that I had not named all the persons mentioned in para 2 in my statement to the police and in my evidence before the court.

No Cross examination by K.K. Sud, ASG on behalf of Central Government

Read over and found correct.
