I had filed an affidavit before this Commission. It is read over to me. I say that the contents thereof were correct. The affidavit is taken on record and marked as Exhibit No.49/1. In addition to what I have stated in my affidavit I say that in Jagatpuri about 20 to 21 Sikh families were staying in 1984.

During November 1984 incident about 20 sardars were killed. On 1.11.84 the mob had attacked my house. On 3.11.84 my family shifted to Durgapuri Gurdwara Camp. Along with my husband a helper was also killed. A person who was a helper or cleaner was also victim and was killed.

I was told by my neighbour about the death of my husband. Mr Bhardwaj who is referred to by me in para 7 of my affidavit was residing near the temple in our locality. B-Block is next to the temple. I do not know the full name of Mr Bhardwaj, it could be Mr Hari Bhardwaj.

I do not know he was an ex-constable. I do not know if he was arrested along with other culprits in connection with the incident of 5th November, 1984. I do not if any offence was registered with respect to attack on my house.

No Cross examination by K.K. Sud, ASG on behalf of Central Government

Read over and found correct.
