Statement submitted before the Nanavati Commission

Name : Mrs Gopi Kaur

Occupation : House Wife

I have filed an affidavit before Justice Ranganath Misra Commission of Inquiry. It is shown and read over to me and I say that it is the same which I had filed before that Commission. In my house two of my family member were killed and in all during the incident of 1984, 11 of my relatives were killed. There were about 300 Sikh families staying in Block No.32 of Trilokpuri. In all about 400 Sikhs were killed. Persons referred to by me in the affidavit were also amongst the accused shown in that case.

Cross examination by S.S. Gandhi, Sr. Advocate on behalf of Delhi Police

I had gone to Kakardooma Courts to give evidence. That case was in respect of the incident, which took place in my house. The persons referred by me in the affidavit are also the accused in that case. In all I had gone there for about five or six times to give evidence.
