This Police Station covers residential areas of Vijay Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Laxmi Bai Nagar, West Kidwai Nagar and private residential areas in Safdarjung Enclave.

Events

The incidents in this Police Station started in the evening of 31st October, 1984 and continued up to 3rd November, 1984. There was arson and looting on Ring Road. Africa Avenue crossing and Safdarjung Enclave.

Gurdwara at Sarojini Nagar was attacked and Kamal Cinema was set on fire. Ajit Singh has gone on record to say that when he contacted the local Police Station/Fire Station, he was informed that they had orders not to move out.
