Events

Violence in this area started on 31st October 1984 and continued up to 2nd November 1984. Taxi Stands were burnt down and the main market in Sector III of R.K.Puram was also set on fire. The Gurdwara in Sector III was also damaged. On 1.11.84 a serious incident took place in Palika Bhawan R.K. Puram where the crowd indulged in looting and arson.

i. Bachan Singh S/o Paras Nath R/o 38 Mohd Pur.
ii. Raj Kumar (1) Pakhad S/o Paras Nath R/o 38 Mohd.Pur.
iii. Surat Singh S/o Data Ram R/o 31A Mohd.Pur Died during Trial.

iv. Surender Singh S/o Kartar Singh also 122 Mohd. Pur (all acquitted by ASJ R.K. Goba on 15-11-2000 on lack of evidence.

In FIR No.383/93 accused Bhim Singh S/o Dev Karan R/o Mochi Gaon.
