1984 Affidavits

Affidavit submitted before the Nanavati Commission

I, Vinod Khosla, S/o Late Sh. Hans Raj Khosla, aged about 52 yrs., R/o CP-107, Pitam Pura, New Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1. That I during the riots of 1984, I had been residing at CP-107, Pitam Pura, New Delhi, and running my factory of printing press at the factory premises of Shed No. 33, Wazirpur Industrial Complex, New Delhi.

2. That on 1st November, '84, as per my daily routine I reached at my factory in the morning at about 9 am In the afternoon I heard there were many people shouting on the road. When I came out from my factory I saw a mob which was coming towards a factory in front of my factory which belongs to S. Tarlochan Singh Rana, Shed No. 27, the mob entered their premises and started looting the valuable items and were carrying with them. Then they set on fire the entire factory. I could see there was total loss of building, plant and machinery etc. of Shed No. 27.
