2. Then I saw that the mob which was carrying lathis, iron rods etc. attacked a house which is just opposite our house. That house belonged to Chawla, owner of "Nigma Powder." After that the mob set on fire the house of a retired Lieutenant General.

3. Around 4 o'clock the mob came to my house. During the attack they threw stones and broke the gate. A large number of persons from the mob, after breaking the gate, entered our house. They pulled one car and a scooter belonging to us on the road and set them on fire. During this lootmar and arson we went on the terrace of our house. The mob first looted my house and after that they set it on fire.

4. In all this episode, the Congress Councilor Sh. Mala Ram is involved. This is confirmed by Harbhajan Singh R/o H. No.443, Pocket 2, Pashchim Puri. He himself had seen on 1-11-84 at 3:50 pm that mala Ram was sending the mob towards Punjabi Bagh.
