1984 Affidavits

Affidavit submitted before the Nanavati Commission

I, Munchi Singh S/o S. Jumman Singh aged about 70yrs. R/o 11/233, Kalyanpuri, Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1. That during Oct./ Nov.'84, I along with my family was residing at the abovesaid address.

2. That I was doing a job of bar bender.

3. That on 1st Nov.'84, armed mob looted and damaged my house. They set my house on fire. I suffered a loss of Rs.45,000/-.

4. That I lodged a report with the P.S. Kalyanpuri on 13th Nov.'84, copy of which is enclosed as ANNEXURE-1.

5. That I have received a compensation of Rs.1,000/-.
