I, Mohan Kumar Marwah, S/o Sh. Chunni Lal Marwah, aged about 47 yrs., R/o TU-73, Pitam Pura, New Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1. That during the riots of 1984, had been residing at TU-73, Pitam Pura, New Delhi, and running my factory for manufacture of motor part items at Shed No. 30, Wazirpur Industrial Complex, New Delhi.

2. That on 1st November, '84, when I was working in my factory at about 12:30 pm. suddenly I came out from my factory with my brother and saw many people were shouting and running on the road. I saw a mob was coming towards our lane and their target was a factory which is just in front of my factory which belongs to S. Tarlochan Singh Rana. The mob broke open the shutter lock of the factory and entered the factory premises of Shed No. 27. They started looting the factory and after they set on fire the entire factory I could see there was total loss of building, plant and machinery etc.

3. That my brother and I also informed to S. Tarlochan Singh Rana on telephone that the rioters have destroyed your factory. But he never came to see all this since he was scared that they may kill me.
