1984 Delhi Sikh Genocide - Affidavits

Affidavit submitted before the Nanavati Commission

I, Kuldeep Kaur W/o S. Amrik Singh aged about 42 yrs. R/o A-56-Y, Jahangirpuri, D.D.A. Flats, Delhi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-

1. That Nov.'84, I and my family were living at J-1103, Jahangirpuri, Delhi and my husband was working as truck driver.

2. That after the death of than Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi. I with my family had been saved by my neighbour and they provided us lodging and boarding till the arrival of the Military on 2nd Nov.'84.

3. That on 2nd Nov.'84, Military came in our area and shifted us in above said flats.

4. That later on we came to know that mob had looted my household articles and set on fire my house for the same. I lodge an FIR at Police Station, Jahangirpuri on 9-11-84.

5. That I suffered a loss of Rs.50,000/- for my T.V. (B&W), Sewing machine, clothing and some golden and silver jewelry.
