I, Harvinder Singh S/o Amrit Singh, R/o 36, Masjid Side, Bhogal, New Delhi, presently residing at H.No. 413, Punjabi Colony, Faridabad, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-
1. On 1-11-84, about 12:30 afternoon my vehicle number HRP-1758 was standing at ITO petrol pump. From there my driver was taking the vehicle to Faridabad. On the way the vehicles were on fire.
The driver got scarred and frightened and was returning with the vehicle. At Nizammudin bridge, trying to avoid the violent crowds the driver drove the vehicle into sugarcane fields. A crowd of about 500 from the village came and set the vehicle on fire.
The vehicle was completely gutted. I lodged a complaint with Kalyanpuri P.S. After some days I found that the engine has been pilfered from the car. The gear box, radiator etc. had also been removed.
We lodged the second complaint with the Police Station, but nobody listen to us. The person who removed the engine was a person name Balbira who owned the field – I know this individual very well.
