Gurdwara Sri Sangrana Sahib Chaminda is situated in Chaminda village in the Ludhiana district.
In 1631, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji arrived here after visiting the nearby village of Gujjarwal. At the time there was a dense forest and a water pond here.
When the Sangat heard that Guru Hargobind was in their village they wanted to see him.
One old lady brought langar and milk. Unfortunately, when the lady offered her food it had become mixed up.
Guru Hargobind commented that the food had become 'Sangrana'. Hence the name of the Gurdwara, Gurdwara Sri Sangrana Sahib Chaminda.
Later, it said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited here. There is a jhor mela each year around the middle of Feburary (1st Phagun).
