Kishtwar is situated on the left side of river Chenab. Kishtwar was associated with the Nagas and other religous places of muslims and hindus.
Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji is said to have stayed at the garden of siddh's known as 'Sidhian di Bagichi'. Guru Nanak had religous discourses with the siddh's in order to reveal the truth to them.
Before arriving here, Guru Nanak also visited Bhaderwa and Jammu city. Bhaderwa and Kishtwar Gurdwaras were constructed later on by Bhai Sahib Sher Singh (M.Sc.) Kashmir.
