Dhamot is a rural village that falls in the Ludhiana district of Punjab.
Dhamot has two Historic Sikh Gurdwaras.
Gurdwara Sri Damdama Manji Sahib Dhamot marks the place where Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji stayed and held diwans for the local Sangat.
There is a Bhora Sahib which marks the exact location of where Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji sat.
This Gurdwara marks the location of a khooh (well) which Bhai Bidhi Chand Ji used to provide water to Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, his horses and Sikhs.
The khooh is known as the Malka wala khooh.
