Gurdwara Sri Rababsar Sahib is situated at a distance of 16 km southwest of Sultanpur Lodhi.

A famous musician named Bhai Phiranda used to reside here. Bhai Phiranda was a carpenter by trade and also manufactured Rabab (a musical string instrument).

When Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was about to leave Sultanpur Lodhi for his udasi (preachiung tour), he sent Bhai Mardana here, to Bharoana village, to buy a Rabab.

Bhai Phiranda gave Bhai Mardana a special Rabab for Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji here which produced a divine sound like 'Tu Hi Nirankar, Tu Hi Nirankar' (a divine melody in praise of the Almighty).

When Bhai Phiranda came to know that Guru Nanak had ordered the Rabab he refused to take any money.
