Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited Bani Badarpur at least twice.
The first time, Guru Tegh Bahadur arrived here while travelling from Kurukshetra, via Muniarpur and Dudhi.
Guru Tegh Bahadur paid the Chaudary Rambakash, the person in charge of the village, to have a well dug for use of all the villagers as there was a water shortage.
Unfortunately, Chaudary Rambakash misued the money and spent it on himself. When Guru Tegh Bahadur arrived again, Guru Ji arranged the well for the villagers to be constructed himself.
