This is a historic place where Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji came during his visit to Assam. The Gurdwara was discovered in 1996.

This has became very popular Gurdwara with the East Indian Sikh community due to its historic importance.

It was unknown to the community till 1995 when the hindu caretaker disclosed the history of Guru Ji's visit to this place. Since then the place grown rapidly and a beautiful Gurudwara Sahib has been built at the place.

This place is believed to be the place Sri Guru Nanak"s visited enroute to Cuttack, Puri, Orissa. India. Where with the blessing of Guru Nanak the Raja had a girl brought her up as a Rajkumar.
