When Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was staying at Daroli Bhai in 1631. Guru Ji's, sister-in-law Mata Ramo and her husband Bhai Sain Das were also staying there.
Guru Hargobind's wife, Mata Damodari, and Mata Ramo both fell seriously ill. On receiving the news, Mata Damodari's parents, Bhai Narain Das and Mata Daya Kaur, who lived in village Dalla immeadiately left for Daroli Bhai.
When Mata Damodari's parents arrived near the village Salina, they received the sad news that their daughters Mata Damodari, and their elder daughter Mata Ramo had rejoined with God.
Bhai Narain Das and Mata Daya Kaur could not bear the shock and both of them also rejoined with God. Guru Ji had their bodies carried to Salina for cremation. The Gurdwara at Salina was constructed in the memory of Guru Hargobind and his parents-in-law.
