Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his Singhs visited this place while travelling from Talwandi Sabo (in Bathinda District) to village Kot Dharmu.

Guru Gobind Singh stayed at the site of Gurdwara Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Dalianwali.

The Singhs told Guru Gobind Singh that they were very hungry. As nothing was available nearby, Guru Ji asked the Singhs to shake the nearby trees of Beri and Kikkar. TTo their surprise they found sweets falling from the trees. The followers ate the sweets with respect given to Guru Ji.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Dalianwali is famous for its fair known as 'Mela Mithayian Sar' which is held on the Amavas day every month.
