Gurdwara Sri Dhabsar Sahib marks the place where Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji visited after returning from Gwalior.
Guru Hargobind stopped to rest with his Sikhs near the village pond, near a 'dhab', hence the name of the Gurdwara. The villagers made a special request of Guru Ji. A man eating troublesome lion was living nearby and the villagers were scared.
However, none of the villagers was willing to risk their life and confront the lion so they asked Guru Hargobind to help.
Guru Hargobind tracked the lion to near the village Bhamian and there it was killed. The lion's skin was offered to Baba Sri Chand who was at Kiratpur.
Guru Hargobind visited Goh again during his tour of the Malwa region.
