Gurdwara Sri Gurusar Panjuana Sahib Lamma

In December 1704, mughal and hindu forces deceived Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his family by swearing fake holy oaths on their respective scriptures. This led Guru Gobind Singh to leave Anandpur Sahib.

After passing through a few villages from Raikot, Guru Ji arrived here. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited Lamma in the month of Poh after travelling from Anandpur, Chamkaur, Machhiwara, Alamgir and Raikot.

Guru Gobind Singh and a few accompanying Sikhs stopped to rest at the site of Gurdwara Sri Gurusar Panjuana Sahib Lamma.

Guru Gobind Singh tied his horse to a tree which still exists in the Gurdwara complex.

Gurdwara Sri Chota Damdama Sahib

Bhai Ram Dutt Singh asked Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to stay in Lamma and Guru Ji held diwans for Sikhs.

Guru Gobind Singh stayed in Lamma for 21 days before continuing on his journey. Guru Gobind Singh was slowly travelling towards Muktsar Sahib. From here Guru Gobind Singh went to the site of Gurdwara Sri Johrian Sahib in Manoke or Manuke village.
