Gurdwara Sri Chintaharan Dukhniwaran is situated in Kanpur in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
In 1665, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji stayed here for 2 days with his family and Sikhs while travelling towards Patna and Assam.
According to the book 'History of Kanpur' (by Narain Prasad Arora and Laxmi Kant Tripathi) Guru Tegh Bahadur came to Kanpur by road.
From here, Guru Tegh Bahadur continued his journey on the river Ganges.
The Manji (bed) on which Guru Sahib slept during his visit, is still displayed at the Gurdwara.
