Gurdwara Sahib Chak Fateh Singh Wala is situated in Chak Fateh Singh Wala, Dist Bathinda.
After the battle of Muktsar Sahib, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was staying at the location of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. Mai Desan Ji a Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Ji wished to see Guru Ji.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited Chak Fateh Singh Wala to meet Mai Desan Ji and pitched his tent where the sarovar of Gurdwara Sahib Chak Fateh Singh Wala is located. From there Mai Desan took Guru Gobind Singh to her home (now Gurdwara Sri Burj Sahib) and served him with great devotion.
Guru Gobind Singh stayed at Chak Fateh Singh Wala for 9 days.
Many things belonging to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Sundar Kaur and Mata Sahib Kaur are still preserved at Gurdwara Sri Burj Sahib.
The artifacts are preserved by the decendants of Mai Desan Ji and treated with great care and respect.
